OUR UPDATED TERMS & CONDITIONS

NEW BOOKINGS FOR 2021 & 2022 SEASON:


Our standard Terms Conditions apply with 40% non-refundable deposit at time of booking with the full balance due 8 weeks prior to your scheduled stay, unless the booking is made less than 8 weeks prior, in which case the full non-refundable rental must be paid at the time of booking.

  • Cancellation Policy – Over 8 weeks prior to arrival:
    If up to 8 weeks prior to your scheduled stay, when the final balance is due, there is in place an official Government imposed travel restriction as a result of COVID-19 which prevents you travelling to Greece, staying at the villas, or forces you to quarantine in your home country on return, we will allow you to cancel your booking for a full refund of the deposit paid.

  • Cancellation Policy – Less than 8 weeks prior to arrival:
    If at the time of arrival of your scheduled stay there is in place an official Government imposed travel restriction as a result of COVID-19 which prevents you travelling to Greece, staying at the villas, or forces you to quarantine in your home country on return, we will then allow you to cancel your booking and receive a full credit to you use to reschedule a future date. This credit for a booking of an equivalent value will be valid for use until 31st October 2022.

  • Cancellation Policy – Standard:
    For those wishing to cancel their stay entirely for any other reason, Guests will be subject to our standard terms and conditions in place at the time of booking.

  • COVID-19 Credit Notes:
    For all change of date and postponed stays, rescheduled bookings are subject to the rates at time of new bookings (ie. if guests are moving dates from a low season to a high season, guests will be required to pay the difference at the time of moving their booking to secure new dates. However, if guests are moving their dates from a high season to a low season, any unused credit may be used towards extending the number of nights.

  • Cancellations or further date changes on COVID-19 rescheduled bookings:
    Should your rescheduled booking be affected by COVID-19 official Government travel restrictions, a further rescheduled bookings will be allowed on a case by case basis. Future credits are at the full discretion of the owners, under consideration of government advice and travel restrictions in place at the time of future bookings.

 

 

EXISTING BOOKINGS:


This will be the flexible COVID-19 policy agreed with you at the time of your initial booking or re-booking. We are offering flexibility in our current standard cancellation policy to provide a credit for a future re-booking of equivalent value , if at the time of arrival of your scheduled booking or re-booking there is in place an official Government imposed travel restriction as a result of COVID-19 which prevents you travelling to Greece, staying at the villas, or forces you to quarantine in your home country on return. For those wishing to cancel their stay entirely for any other reason, Guests will be subject to our standard terms and conditions.

 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION


Please look at both the Greek Department of Tourism website for the latest travel updates and any entry requirements prior to your arrival in Greece.

 

We ask that all guests carefully consider the official Government (Greek and that our their home country) advice, directives and legislation current at the time of their stay. It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure they are adhering to current legislation during their stay. Note failure to comply with government issued advice may be punishable by law resulting in large fines or imprisonment. Kathisma Bay Villas will not be held liable for any penalties incurred due to guests breach of COVID-19 restrictions.

 

We are closely monitoring the situation and will make necessary changes to our Policy as new government directives arise. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions the moment any future travel restrictions for Greece are announced.

We would like you to know that we are doing everything possible to ensure your stay is safe.

 

We look forward to welcoming you and can assure you that, at Kathisma Bay Villas your health and wellbeing has always been a priority and with the impact of COVID-19 being felt across the globe, we’re in overdrive on the sanitising and cleaning fronts.

 

We are following protocols as proposed by the Greek Government and taking even further measures which include our staff having their health and temperature checked before they begin each shift, increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all areas across the entire property and implementing even stricter hand hygiene policies for our team members.

 

Our commitment to you is to ensure that every possible safety measure is in place so your stay with us sees you benefit from all that a luxury holiday Kathisma Bay Villa-style can deliver.

 

We are closely monitoring the regular guidance being issued by the Greek Government as well as the World Health Organisation and will continue to educate our teams accordingly in matters which include:

  • Hand hygiene: Proper and frequent handwashing to help combat the spread of viruses. We all know cleanliness starts with this one simple act and is of vital importance for the health of our employees and that of our guests.

  • Indoor areas: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean each Villa after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with special attention paid to high-touch items and surfaces. We are also being extra sensitive to guests who do not want housekeeping service during their stay.

  • Outdoor spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of outdoor spaces, especially outdoor furniture and sun-lounging area.

  • Swimming pool: There is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to people through the water used in pools. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g. with chlorine) of pools should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. We have always ensured that our pools are properly maintained in order to protect our clients and we will continue to do so.
