With an incredible summer weather so far, September and October are a great relaxing time to visit Lefkada, with long day light hours and very pleasant temperatures.  

September is the month that most Greeks would rather take on their holidays if they were able to. Being towards the of the Greek summer, the beaches are much more quiet compared to the hive of activity during the peak July and August months, and the smaller number of tourists visiting during this month means you should easily be able to find both quite spots for relaxation as well as busy places if people watching is your thing.

October is usually very pleasant too, especially if travelling with a young family, or baby or elderly, as it is not extremely hot, hence you can still enjoy the sunshine without feeling constantly hot.
